Born and reared in Columbiana, Alabama, Sarah grew up watching her father and late grandfather serve their community through the practice of law, inspiring her to follow in their footsteps.
In 2022, Sarah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minors in both English and History. She was a member and held leadership roles in numerous university clubs and organizations such as the Honors College and Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Sarah is also a proud member of the Phi Beta Kappa honors society.
Sarah attended the University of Alabama School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2025. In law school, Sarah was involved in the Dorbin Women’s Association, competed on the National Environmental Moot Court Team, was Treasurer of the Business Law Society, and served as Senior Editor of the Alabama Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Law Review. She also volunteered in the Criminal Defense Clinic where she provided assistance to indigent residents of Tuscaloosa County in a wide variety of criminal law matters.
